I lived in a quiet little town in Ireland before moving to this so-called stab city! I loved the town, it was beautiful, quiet and peaceful, there was a sense of unity in the community. However, it wasn’t so good in terms of resources. There was no college, no university there, we ended up shifting to this city for all our higher education needs. There were no industries there, it was all farm land, so it would’ve been very difficult to find a job. At least there was a proper shopping centre in the small town I lived in, you won’t even find that in a rural village! You can live in isolation but you’ll have to commute to nearby towns and cities to access most of the resources.
Yeah urbanisation has lead to pollution, global warming, cutting down trees, damaging human and animal health etc but can we really survive without it?
