You know , how sometimes grandad was an engineer, hence all his kids and their kids turn out to be engineers and they become a family of engineers …
Do you have a family profession? if yes , did you carry on with the tradition and adopted their profession or did you take your own route away from them?
teaching... everyone in my family has been somehow related to the education dept.. teachers, professors, education dept. director etc..
I didn't carry on with that but I have to admit I regret it.. I have been told by several people that teaching should have been career because of my personality but I think for me it was like ghar ki murghi daal barabar.. since everyone was in this field, I didn't find it as appealing as other professions!
**same as above. my family is also a teacher's family. my big bro is a professor here in Canada and the other bro is also a professor at Aligarh Muslim University, India. my dad was a Principal of a High School in an indian village. i'm am still in persuit of a teaching position. i'm presently a post doc researcher and waiting to find an opportunity to become a faculty.
my uncle was the Deputy Director of Education in one of the indian states. my other two uncles taught law to police cadets in India. my grand father was also a Principal in an indian Degree College. **
