I think my carbon footprint is fair now. We have to pay a "carbon tax". Proposterous!

Indeed.
Our garbage isone trash bag per week. Everything else recycled. Cant recall buying too many packaged goods. Sometimes cant avoid.
Using resources sparingly while staying at hotels - turn lights off before lea int turn off ac. Etc before leavoing running shower at low speed. Every little bit helps.
Used to drive home for lunch. Now pack lunch and walk 30 min during lunch with umbrella to protect from sun. Getting healthier with lower c footprint

Carbon Footprint.............Those who know what it means and lecture others like Vice President Al Gore He himself and the rest of the Affluent World all live in Wood Homes made from cutting down Forrest.........Forrest that are the largest reducers of Carbon Dioxide on Earth...........and yet they will go and lecture the the Third World who live in Mud and brick homes and do not drive gas guzzelers!
Do the Math, the Polluters Keep on Pollutin yet tell every one we is going green Y'All!

Mr. President sir I could not agree with you more. Al Gore also had a heated swimming pool ( outdoors!). Clearly the west per capita ( esp USA) pollutes far greater than rest of the world. Nascar races all refrain vehicles motor boat races - even enrertainmenr is designed to npollute!
"Tree butter's" are ridiculed. About maybe 5-10% of folks get it out west.
Even in developing nations the poor who live frugally don't pollute. While the upwardly mobile don't use public transportation drive gas guzzlers and live likethere is no tomorrow.
So let us give it up for the poor- the real stewards of the environment.

So thought this would be a good time to do some inventory. As you know there is a 1.5 sq mile of plastic bags floating in the ocean. So reducing or nearly eliminating their use would be good.
Here is inventory on weekly basis
Past week # of plastic bags: 1 for trash. A.for shopping cloth badsx- for vegetables etc reuse old bags
Will update next week.
