What Is This?

:salam2:

Is it even allowed in Cricket? :hoonh: As far I know if some1 do that he’s out. How come no out is given to him???

Re: What Is This?

That's absolutely fine. You can kick the ball but you cannot touch it with your hand (that w'd be out) to prevent it from going onto or hitting the stumps

Re: What Is This?

But When I kicked the ball the umpire gave me out and that ball even was a dead-ball :naraz: Unfair na!

Since that I thought ke kicking ball cause ‘out’.

Re: What Is This?

You probably just stood there and kicked the ball without offering any shot, if so then that's OUT.... just guessing

Re: What Is This?

Deliberate padding can result in lbw. .:hmmm:

Re: What Is This?

Yes. You are absolutely right :k:

Hona chahiyeh ibw ya bold. Otherwise every1 will do this to save wicket.

Re: What Is This?

if the ball hit the bat first then you can kick it , it will be bat and pad.

they tell you this in almost every second match.

So you watching anti india youtube channels today!! Depressed?

Re: What Is This?

I’m not aware from whether it is allowed or not kick the ball after hitting bat first. Precisely speaking to stop the ball hitting the wicket. But after this video and receiving feedback by fellow members I think it is allowed and from now so on I’ll do the same :lifey:

Re: What Is This?

It happens in almost every other match. If ball doesnt hit the bat first and you kick it then you will be LBW, if you move the ball away using hand then you are out for bringing shame to the cricket.
If ball hit the bat first and you use bat to move the ball away then you are still out as double hit is not allowed.

I am surprised people here havent seen that, i see it very regularly in intl cricket.

Re: What Is This?

Deliberate padding outside leg stump (when bowler is coming round the wicket) IS allowed. That’s the only instance when it is ok

Otherwise you can only kick the ball after you have played a shot. If the ball deflects off your bat, pad or any part of your body and is heading towards your stumps, you can kick it as many times as you like to prevent it from hitting the stumps.

The bat is there for a reason!

Re: What Is This?

^ No you can only kick it. you cannot use your bat or hand in this situation

Re: What Is This?

Well while batting, the bowler through the ball which was dead ball, before it reach to me I kicked the ball without using my bat or hand and the umpire given me out! :hmmm:
