With that, in case PTI wins opponents should not work like PML-N did with PPP i.e. friendly opposition. If PTI does not win, opponents of PTI should bear the criticism for any wrong doing. In any case, losing party MUST NOT resort to violence, or threats of 'mass resignations', 'long maarch' etc.

No one knows dark side of this munafiqat on the name of mufahimat than us Karachiites.
^ TTP is the bigger threat no doubt, but I am also of a firm belief that no political party/religious group should be allowed to have a militant wing. I have my opinion on the reasons of increase in militancy in karachi and how it can be controlled.
This is what IK also says, stop Bhatta khori and destroy the terrorist wing wihtin your party.
Then an alliance is fine, in fact a very welcome one!

Disband terrorist wing to murder/kidnap/torture opponents .
Stop Bhatta Khori and terrorizing the general public.
Hand over all the murderers to face the justice.
THEN....even I'll vote for MQM

and that will never happen.
PML-N/JI/LEJ/TTP/LEJ/SS/ST/MQM/ANP/PPP all will remain fasadi groups/parties.
There's no a U-turn. In terms of ideology, i.e anti feudalism, strong local government, welfare policies (minus MQM's obvious ethnic bias) on paper, PTI and MQM do appear as natural allies.
and they have one more thing in common Target killers :D
