Guys I need help trying to find what a certain thing is called…

Lately it has been in fashion … you take a 45 or 60 inch wide material as long as you want… fold it in half …make the neckline and just two straight stitches on the side. I have seen a lot of arab women wear this…it looks lovely and sooo loose …

Can any of you guys tell me what it is called in english…

Really? The pics you provided seem to be of kaftans, to my eye. Maybe it depends on the length; ponchos tend to be no longer than knee length, whereas kaftans usually reach the floor.

If the sides are stitched then it is a caftan. Ponchos are completely open.

yeah there called Kaftan's ponchos u wear mostly in the cold weather
