but those ghararas were loose right? Personally I wouldn’t like such a short blouse with anything two legged and tight! and don’t ghararas have pleats on the knees? I am having a hard time seeing this as a gharara, the peach one mayyyyyybe but this one is definitely one legged
yeah gharara's definitely need longer shirts, otherwise, it very clearly resembles a bell-bottom pant and theres nothing graceful about those :P
i think the gharara is meant to have lots of gheyr so it resembles a ball gown almost with a longer, fitted shirt.
i think you're right, FF, even if the pic shows two legs, and i think it does, it should still be a one-paincha lehenga with a shorter shirt.
this is a type of gharara which i remember my tailor said 'nicker-gharara' hehe.. it has toght upper part with lesser 'ghaira' of each gharara bell.. it is by the designer 'hijaab'
I agree with everyone that each tailor has their own styl eof measurement. Go somewhere & get your measurmenet done after showing the pic, but also, find a kameez & pair of pants that fit well...I would send the kameez & pant to pakistan to a relative so they can give to the darzi, that way they know exactly what size the end result should be....
it has worked well for me for my wedding dress :)
its 2....because...look closely...the border work curves completely on the front leg.....ie....the shape of the fabric hugging the leg is circular...not semi-circular..
