The islamic evidence in regards for punishment for this act is a choice of 2.

Guilty Person will be stoned to death

or

Guilty person will be thrown from a cliff onto jagged rocks

Or in one incident at time of khalifah Umar(ra) one guilty person was thrown from the cliff and on way down the people threw stones at them at same time :)

Sodomy existed then and it still does and probably will for the rest of time.
wether they get punished for it now or not - on the day of qayamath.. they will pay.

I like how my post just disappeared becuase the moderator didn't agree with me. Oh perhaps Islam, in the moderator's point of view, prohibits free speech.
