ok so i am pretty shocked to see this happen where i am i dunno if u agree or not but
when guys thump each others back and go out together for safaris etc and hug each other etc etc why is it that its called hanging out and guys stuff and when girls do the same thing some pervert comes up says lesbo!

I think in many cultures it's more taboo for men to show affection to each other. For women it's more acceptable. This is the case in the US.
