I was just wondering. Also, how much do rickshas charge for going, say, from Model Town to Gulberg or the Mall?
What about the price of beef, chicken and chota gosht? How about onions?
It’s been a few years and I have no idea what prices/rates are like.

Petrol prices just 73 rupees..... beef sells for around 280 and chicken for 220 per kilo.... and the last time I was in a rickshaw, I paid around Rs.100 for traveling about 11 KMs...

Wow. What a trip. When I first lived in Pakistan (1981-83), the rupee was around 10 to the US$, and beef was Rs20-22/kg, chicken was Rs.35, chota gosht was Rs38-42/kg. I don't remember the price of fuel, nor how much it cost to go how far by ricksha.

Today petrol price in Pakistan is 102 per liter. It is going up and down after 15 days.

I thought in desh petrol or milk price stays constant. The variable being amount of water added.

Petrol I believe is 108…and the minimum a rickshaw will ask for is 300, even if you are going across the street. If its a CNG rickshaw, then maybe 250.
