You can take these issues to ridiculous extremes if you want. No doubt someone will come along and insist anything less than a shuttlecock burkha with a mesh to see through is unacceptable.
Minerva's view that South Asian women tend to cover their bodies rather than their heads makes more sense. I have to admit when I see arab women peering through those slits in their tents it frightens the hell out of me. Or maybe into me...who knows?
