oh i just love shalwar kameez , u know u can eat as much as u want while wearing it , and u just can't do the same in yr fitted jeans/ bottoms :D

Correction: Late Zia Ul Haq made it national dress :)
It is driven from Arabian Thobe which is one piece dress wore in hot and dusty weather, since Pakistani border is closed to Arabian countries and mostly culture was adopted from Arabia, (being Muslim) hence Pakistani people made it into two pieces according to the weather and environment!
