Lets see…there was the time i left the country with a bunch of [older] friends without informing my parents. I used to leave the country spontaneously for concerts, climbing expeditions, road trips… but on this occasion, i was only a young teen…16 i think.
There was the time when my sister and i were in a different city, in a shop and i walked out without her. 20 minutes later, i realised “oh yeah, my sister!!!”…went back to the store to find her sat near the cash desk bawling her eyes out and being comforted by the cashier who looked like she was about to kill me =/
The time (actually this happened many times) when my parents would be away at a conference or a vacation…leaving us in the trusty hands of our older brother…but i’d invite my friends over,who’d invite their friends, who’d invite their friends,who’d invite their friends etc. Trashed my parent’s home. I had to bribe my siblings to not snitch on me.
The time where my friends and i set off fireworks in this empty cafe and did a runner.
You get the picture. Man i was a stupid child.

among the ones that I can mention a key one is
at 17 driving on a whim to Mexico city with a pal during thanksgiving break and overstaying by a week, by the time we came back state police in 3 states was looking for two dudes in a ditch somewhere :D

I did not do it intentionally but who would have believed. I boarded on plane from NY to Pakistan with a BOX CUTTER/Knife (in 2005). It was only 4-5hours into the flight when I was trying to pull out my notebook from my bag I saw the knife in there and rest of the journey was none less than nightmare.

I don’t think I’ve done anything more alarming than announcing my plans to marry my husband of today. Trust me, that was a BIGGGGGGG shocker for my parents. It was worse than the 1947 partition itself. But it wasn’t irresponsible

Reading the things everyone has done, I think I was too responsible growing up 
had no fun at all.
Oh yeah, I remember one event… When I was around 12 years old, I jumped off the roof of our house because my cousin dared me to go fetch the cricket ball from the roof of the garage next to the house, there was a one-foot gap and the garage roof was much lower too. I jumped and landed on my back, my breath was knocked out for like 30 seconds… then I got up, limped to the ball, threw it back to him and said now, how do I get down and started crying lol. My sister went and called my dad, while my cousin ran off to hide… dad got got me down through the pipes 
and then both of us got a good lecture on what could have happened had I fallen down on the concrete instead of landing on the garage roof.

mine would be: I am sure some of you have done this - lit a gas pilot with your face too close. Totally burned off my eyebrows and eyelashes at the age of 10. Thank God they grew back.
I forgot to pick my younger brother from elementary school because I was hanging out with a friend. He sat there for 5 hours. Poor baby. I got chitrol that day.
I went out to grab something in the middle of winter from 7-11 wearing flip flops and no phone and without my wallet. My car swerved and I had to stand in the 3 feet snow in flip flops. Also got a ticket for not having a license on me.

My parents were way too strict with me growing up.
I think I did all the stupid stuff wheN i was older… like 20+ :hinna:

Sara - I think adults do irresponsible stuff all the time. One time without realizing that he's was roaming charges - my dad talked to my mom for an hour and half. He had to pay $650. My mom was pissed :D
And he gets speeding tix all the time at 60 and then tries to justify them.
