What is the minimum and maximum --------------??

Dear Readers,

Assalam mun ale kum,

I wonder why there are so many firqas in islam? I have noticed all muslims believe in:

1)Allah as one
2)on four elhami books
3)on 124,000 prophets send by GOD
4)And the last one is Prophet mohammed and
5) Qayamat day

If this is the requirement to be in the DIAERAYAE ISLAM then one who says “lailaha il lal llah mohammed dun rasoul allah” should be considered as muslim.

And this was the way, that one who used to say Kalma Tayaba, people used to consider him as muslims in prophet’s mohammed time.

All companions of rasoul had eccepted islam by saying the same words.

If this is the maximum, one has to say to be muslim, then why can not be muslims on one platform and for the rest of the differences they can stay what they want to say or is there anything more to enter DIAERAYAE ISLAM???if not? then why two main streams of muslims kill each other or only wahabies kill both the main stream muslims??? or is kalma tayaba not enough to be a muslim.

wassalam

i thought there was only one main stream of muslims??? :konfused:

there have been some discussion on this topic before...and yes sokoon, u r right...but let to clarify something....the only belief u need to have to become a muslim is "belief in one Allah"...and when u believe in this, automatically u start believing the other four...

and there is no room for firqas in islam...here is what quran has to say abt it...

**[6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with
you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform
them of everything they had done.

30:32 like those who divide
their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what
they have.

[42:14] Ironically, they broke up into sects only after the
knowledge had come to them, due to jealousy and
resentment among themselves. If it were not for a
predetermined decision from your Lord to respite them for
a definite interim, they would have been judged
immediately. Indeed, the later generations who inherited
the scripture are full of doubts.
