I like this name a lot but I don’t know what it means. My husband won’t let me name my daughter Zonash unless it has a good meaning to the name.

I've also checked the name Zunehra (a searched it online and a few people popped yup but no meaning. Is it Zunehra or Zunairah? Which is correct?

I'm not certain of the meaning or the origin. It's definitely not Pashto or Dari/Persian as far as I know though. However, I have met a couple of people with that name. One is a friend of mine from uni whose family is from Bahrain and the other is a colleague of my husband's who is from Dubai.
Are you sure it is a girl's name though? The reason I ask is that both of the people I know with that name are guys.

dyslexic form wud be hsizan. Anyways , i think zonash is a boys name. not sure tho. have heard Zonaysha for girls. meaning not known.

^I don't know about Zonash (although I've met two Middle Eastern gentleman with that name) but I think the name Zonaysha/Zonaisha is Aborigine in origin. An Australian colleague of my husband's is named Zonaisha and she's mentioned that her name is Aborigine and is a family name as maternal grandmother was Aborigine.

My husband had a clients whose secretary's name was Zonash. He had never heard of that name before so he asked her to say it couple of times until it he understood her. He mentioned it to me and I liked it too. Since the secretary was female I assumed it might have been a female name. But without knowing its origins and meaning I am not going to go ahead with naming her Zonash.
A bad Turkish dish? Hahaha too funny. I won't name her that if it sounds like bad food.
I'm not out to use unique names, just something I like with a good meaning.
Zonaisha sounds nice.
