Recently i ve heard this name “Allah daat”..it sounds so strange to me…though “Allah ditta” is in my knowledge…what would be the meaning of former name?

I think its 'Allah Daad' not Allah Daat. Allah Daad= Allah Bukhsh

^ daad is a Faarsii derivative of the root word “daadan” meaning ‘to give’…daad means dene waalaa [the giver]

I thought punjabi because it is quite common in saraikies...han yun tu suna hy mgr mayni nhi maloom they...daad rasi meaning hamdardi karna? Or hosla dena?

This name is also poular among Balochis and Sindhi. There was a friend in college with this name. Then there some folk singer from Sindh with this name.

lols. In Sindhi, Shehper means big mustaches.
Shehper was the name of drama written by Mustansar Hussain TaraR for Pakistan Air Force.

But I’m still confused how big mustaches got this pure persian name in Sindhi. Its not used in literature, but heard people using this ‘shehpar’ in rural areas. If we break the word in Shah (big) Per (wings), it really gives the clue to cultural importance of mustaches in Sindh and other parts of Pakistan. Without Mooch a man is same like a lady without hair (Par kati)

Oho yeh 'par kati' reminds me of my childhood..han yeh hosakta hy..
It is shehper...sheen hy(humaiyun wala) pay ray
And app jo bol rahy hain wo shayad shahper sheen alif hay pey ray isnt it?

^ sheh [sheen, he (majhoola)] and shaah [sheen, alif, he (majhoola)] is the variation of the same word meaning 'KING'.
in Urdu we have variations of the words like:
-Khaamoshii, Khamoshii, Khaamshii
