What is the meaning of GOD. Does it looses meaning and we can swear upon GOD, and---

Dear Readers,

When we think that saying Allah gives us the meaning of Towheed and our creator. So what if muslims swear upon GOD? Would they get punishment as if they swear upon Allah. Thanks .

In my opinion what ever name you call GOD you are calling GOD and God knows all languages. Also God is responsible to check our neyyat ,and for every judgement neyat is the CASOUTI ONLY.

If this is correct than why are we so much adament regarding KHUDA HAFIZ or allah hafiz. Do it relly improves our status some where specially in the eyes of our younger generation.

Is not our expression language is urdu and is this not our language and is derived from persian?

Why are we have so much inferiority complex to stand beside our language and speak and express our all feelings and saying in our urdu language. Why shall we show ourselves so foolish that for so many years when we were using our language urdu we used to express culturally and litrerally GOD as KHUDA. Why have we changed it to allah Fahiz, because sometimes it is a cause of BEADABI to call God as Allah, with out any repect. Would it not change to a bad way of saying WAlahi later in some years.

What is behind this changing KHUDA HAFIZ TO Allah Hafiz/
.

With khuda it looks good to say hafiz
But with allah it looks uncomfortable to use Hafez.
With allah we can say fe amman ullah.

Why we are stuck up with such kind of issue to just mare pleasing Arabs, and degrading our culture and literature. Is it really worth to not keep ourself with our culture and literature. Shall not we feel proud that we have INdus civilization-the oldest of all and
most of us are arians- who ruled for a long time and also
Is not it we should be proud to have our own language Please comment and throw light to enlighten my views Best REgard sokoon

'Dear Armughal,

Asalam ale kum,

Thanks for leting me know that my expression is not clear.

I am trying once again. I mean to say in nut shell, Why it has become necessary to change from Khuda Hafiz to Allah Hafiz. Is not this true if we say by God and it has the same meaning that we are swearing upon GOD (Allah) or by saying GOD it is considered as if we did not swear upon; and religiously there is no sin committed, if its binding is broken?--So can we swear upon GoD and it does not have any religious meaning or if we swear upon Khuda it does not have any religious meaning or binding.

But if the word God has the approval to be taken as Allah then why can not we approve of Khuda hafis as allah.

Is not this that this kind of thinking has given birth in our country because we have inferiority complex with Arabs. And we are not proud of having our own language, which is anyway has been a derivative of Persian.

Regarding Quran's language to be Arabic.

We have to see in context of the environment of the world, when Prophet Mohammed (P) declared himself to be Prophet of mankind.

Since Arabs were the most illetrate and most uncivilized during that aera, God has sent his Kalam(Quran) through prophet(P) in the language of arabs. There is indication about it in Quran that it is /was in Arabic for them to follow.

I put an example infront of you. In a class room of students , when a teacher teaches, he/she adresses to the most weak students not the best students. The teacher makes sure if the worst student has followed the rest would definitely follow the lesson. Even after following the lessons the weak students still usually take help to understand the lesson with the ones who have better understanding ability.

If any teacher does not bear in mind while teaching that even worst student should follow; can not produce better results.

Sameway while addressing the mankind ,the worst people were taken care of by GOD.And HE (GOD) has sent Quran in their language. He was sure the rest of the people for example Asia etc would for sure understand it well. Be confident GOD is just. Stiill as I have given example of a teacher and students above, the most of the understanding work of Quran has been done in other areas of the world. For example WHO IS THE pioneer of Hanafi SET OF MUSLIMS WAS AN IRANI, not an arab.

It is not necesory to read Quran in Arabic language. But as respect to
keep the originality and to avoid possible harm to Quran from the side of mankind; we muslims prefered to atleast read ones in Arabic and later we must try to follow it in our own language. Please be aware of the fact that GOD understands all languages. Wasalam sokoon

first u have to understand that swearing on anything/anyone besides Allah is NOT ALLOWED....
it does not mean that u can swear upon anything and u are not bound to commitment....
u swear upon ghayr-Allah then u commit a sin and once u break ur prmoise u commit another....
so bad example gievn byu u....

second, Allah says:
Quran 7:180
Allah's are the fairest names. Invoke Him by them. And leave the company of those who blaspheme His names. They will be requited what they do.

the arbic verse talks about the 'fairest names' as "asmaa-ul-husnaa" and i think all muslims r aware of those names....
so to call Him (Allah) by any other name is not allowed....
many muslim scholars have rejected the use of word God even....

and try figuring out the meaning of the rest of the verse by urself....
am sure it will do good to add to ur knowledge....

Hey Wajiha how ya doing ??

Yeah …u i m talking to u wajiha why aint u listning to me ? :bummer:

Oki oki sorry i know i m talking crap :frowning: but would u like to be called from the name u told me to use or whatever i would use ?

I personally prefer Allah over the word ‘God’ bcos God is He, where word Allah has no gender. (i.e. God & Godess) Also, a God can also be used as Gods, whereas the word Allah in arabic grammer can not have a plural.

The word Khuda is still a bit better then the word God bcos it only means a “Creator”

About swearing, as u said urself, Allah knows whats in hearts, so if u r swearing using the word God & in ur heart u were thinking i m making the person fool as i beleive in Allah (although the person is actually thinking u r swearing ur God) tu i guess one will be held responsible (just a personal opinion, u can consult a scholar).

I dont understand why Allah Hafiz is beadbi & why khuda hafiz is not.

Changing from Khuda Hafiz to Allah hafiz thing i guess is a biased observation, maybe only the ppl u have encountered with were using Khuda Hafiz & later changed.

:bravo:

.

yeah why use Allah Hafiz instead of khuda Hafiz..

and err...

why use Khuda Hfiz instead of Fi Amman Allah

and dang it why use Rab Rakha instead of Khuda Hafiz..

and lastly..

why bother..use what you prefer,,, baal ki khaal nikalny ki kya zaroorat hai.

^^ “chal tata”…or “chal nikal”

:expressionless:

chalay ga ?

:bravo:
