Hi, I live in London, and I love wearing shalwar kameez. I am a true pakistani at heart. I am always trying t keep up to date with the trends in Pakistan. The last time I went was two years back and at that time the sleeveless and caris were in and so people have been wearing this kind of trend here now. I am very fond of trying out different designs and trends and I am looking for a buddy that I could make to help me keep up to date witht the latest fashion in pakistan. I have recenty had lond kameez and sort of flare type capris made. This is what I have seen in the very latest urdu dramas. is it any different. I would love to get in contact with soeone who would like to design and make clothes that I could buy and have as a regular person who keeps the fashion going for me here in London. If there is anyone interested or knows someone.I would be very happy to know.

I just came back from Pakistan and what i have seen is that capri’s and sleeve less shalwaar kameez is still in there. New fashion is that the kameez is long again so no short kameez and bell or belt bottom shalwaar ( if i spell it right)

Jamuar print is also very in, in Pakistan.
A really long kameez with culotte type trousers, my aunties just come back and brought me lots of these...but for some reason it feels odd wearing them here..as u knw the trouser suit is still in fashion here!x
Where did your aunty get them from? I would really like to buy one,but they don't make the very good here in London. Do you live in London? or can you possibky put some pictures up of your clothes.that would be great. Let me know if any of the suggestions are possible or even the designers name who made your clothes.
thanks for the great ideas. its all about finding the right tailor also.its dificult in London. My mum is brilliant at sewing clothes and she did this since we were young. Up untill a few years back Ami stopped sewing them for us as she had problems with her arm. even now if we ask her to sew something, she never says no, but i don't want to put pressure on my mum. Me and my sister who is younger then me just get our clothes made from designers in pakistan, but they can be quite expensive for very simple clothes. I normally get my lawn suits from GulAhmed or JJ in Pakistan. Anyone do nice lawn prints here.
