Specially in Pakistan? does it only lead to better options in the educational sector?
Re: What is the future of a PhD Degree?
Most of phd people I know (closely)are on very good jobs.
One of them is AP in NUST.
one suggestion, if you wanna go in education sector try private, semi private universities first.
- Good package
- Less politics and leg pulling
That’s my 2 cents.
Re: What is the future of a PhD Degree?
having just returned from Pakistan after a visiting faculty appointment, I can say that there’s ample need for qualified researchers in all disciplines. There is a dearth of empirical research in general, and many universities are interested in hiring foreign qualified professors who can advance their profiles as research institutions.
