Bindi is the dot or sticker worn on the forehead to ornament the face using as the third eye and if there is a pendant dangling from a chain secured in the hair then it is named as “tikka”.
It is easy to choose one bindi or tikka when it is in the pack and it looks very beautiful but when you use it on your forehead then it doesn’t resemble with your face and you dislike it. The factors which involve to choice it or to look it pretty are the face shape, hair line, shadows, facial structure with bones and shape of head. Having the triangular shaped face you should be use the star like bindi. This is essential to choose the bindi according to the face shape to give the good look to your face.

Almost all bindi and tikka are found in the form of different symbols, so you should be known the mean of that symbol because it may be the sign of any country, religion, worship or culture, as for example flame, snake, Vishnu, spider, square, swan, eye and paisley.
