What is the difference

between the little yellow lock you put on threads and the big metal one on a blue envelope??

I think the diddy padlocks are for threads with less than 10 replies, but i could be wrong.

I should really know this, considering how many of them I’ve locked today

Any thread with more than 300 views is deemed a 'hot' thread. The blue envelope with a lock icon is for 'hot' threads that are locked. The yellow padlock is for locked threads that are less than 300 views.

why put padlocks on them a hasp and staple would be suffice me thinks :D

Why don’t you just get one lock? After all, the point is to lock the thread so that no more posts can be added

Big difference

:taly: for little girlie lock

and

:TALLA: for big lock.

:jhanda:

It changes itself into bigger when 300 people try to break in :rotfl:

so it is sort of respect to a thread when it get older.

Looks like somebody forgot to fully change the forum theme.

Thats actually correct. I refreshed Impulse’s thread ‘Im sorry…’ some 75 times and changed the lock from the plasticy orange one to the heavy metal one  Now I will go to sleep.

It only turns blue from yellow when you click it.
Please take a good sleep now :sleep2:
