between the little yellow lock you put on threads and the big metal one on a blue envelope??
I think the diddy padlocks are for threads with less than 10 replies, but i could be wrong.
I should really know this, considering how many of them I’ve locked today 
Any thread with more than 300 views is deemed a 'hot' thread. The blue envelope with a lock icon is for 'hot' threads that are locked. The yellow padlock is for locked threads that are less than 300 views.
why put padlocks on them a hasp and staple would be suffice me thinks :D
Why don’t you just get one lock? After all, the point is to lock the thread so that no more posts can be added

It changes itself into bigger when 300 people try to break in 
so it is sort of respect to a thread when it get older.
Looks like somebody forgot to fully change the forum theme.
Thats actually correct. I refreshed Impulse’s thread ‘Im sorry…’ some 75 times and changed the lock from the plasticy orange one to the heavy metal one 
Now I will go to sleep.
It only turns blue from yellow when you click it.
