what is the difference between

catholic schools and public schools?

particularly in canada.

is there a difference between their teaching style? syllabus? schooling in general?

Re: what is the difference between

I would think ctholic schools r more devoted to education.. over here (NYC) catholic school teachers get paid less than public school teachers, so the fact that they're there just shows they're dedicated to their work. At elast tha'ts my logic :)

Re: what is the difference between

I think Catholic schools in Canada are private (and usually they have much much higher funding then normal schools). In the morning, after the anthem (or before maybe), I've heard that they say a few prayers. They have uniform :S Other then that, Catholic schools offer additional religious courses, while normal schools don't. I don't think that their standards are any lower then normal schools. I would goto a catholic school because usually they have much better funding and infrastructure, but then again.. its filled with gorays & chaptays & kaalays... very few desis.

I don't know any other details.
