What exactly to people and moderators mean when they refer to copy/paste argument… I have spend hours writing my own words.. to justify an argument and the code red… interprets the code as copy/paste… and just goes on deleting it… eventhough it all my own words and I am sure he couldn’t have found what I said on someone else online… I mean I would really appreciate if moderators can elaborate more on what is their secreat red code for copy/paste… just so one don’t spend hours writing something and moderators.. just spend a minute.. just because they think(with no prove its some copy / paste ) and delete it..l
Code Red I would really appreciate if you could go through the pains of elaborating this code logics of yours.. it will help us save couple of hours we spend .. some arguments are long and takes a lot of lines to elaborate it doesn’t mean its some copy / paste now does it.. unless its some code logic of yours…
Re: What is the definition of a copy/paste post
Ok, As I have already explained you why your 1 post in that thread was removed and why your similar posts in other threads were not removed …
Now some general views on copy paste lengthy posts ( I would like some feedback from other member too
)
Copy past, posts are allowed iff
- they are relevent to the topic at hand,
- support your pov and
- do not contain offensive language.
- author (of the thread) does not state otherwise
It is ethical to provide a link of website also.
But, apart from that its my own view ( post are not tempered on this basis) That if a post is veryyyy lengthy, most people do not read it and skip or skim through, unless they really have lots of free time and interest, Just off the record, Texan dude your that one post contained 13 thousand letters …
