There was a time our fields yeilded so much we could eat ourselves and feed the nation... In fact our very own plains fed the whole of Hindustan alone so it's shockig these days we cannot feed ourselves.
It has been some years since my shadow fell across my homeland...
I pray i may see my beloved people once more and look upon the most beautifull horse country on earth.
However i cannot comprehend what state it will be in and Allah help me and my people through these difficuilt times.
It may seem funny how the price of a simgle melon could mean so much but that is somehting that is summed up in the blood sweat and tears of a nation... who can put a price on such a thing!

I bought a fairly decent sized water melon last month for Rs. 100. This was in Punjab, where water melons are priced by visually inspecting their size. In Sindh, they are sold by weight.

it ranges from 20-25 rupees per kg.. :)
