What is in fashion at the moment in pakistan?
Re: What is the current fashion?
Tights and very long kameez'es. Designer lawn craze, plain chiffon kurta's with a little sparkly motif on the pocket paired with tights. Churidaar's are in as well. Dark blue (ink) very popular color these days!
Re: What is the current fashion?
My bhabhi is the most up-to-date I know and since her return from pak she has been wearing long kameez with some sort of trousers (I think, I havent looked closer) and at times there are 4-5 buttons at the bottom (ponche and up anklet)
Re: What is the current fashion?
Long kameez with leggings/tights. Recently seen Sana Safinaz on a morning show and they were saying short kameez/dresses are in and long kameez are out, but I don't think thats happened just yet
What is the current fashion?
I even heard Shalwars are coming back in trend. It will start with longer shirts and will eventually go to shorter ones.

nooooooooooooo I hope shalwars don't come back :(
Re: What is the current fashion?
i called my mom and asked the same question............her replky was the current fashion is spending 5 k on a lawn suit and buying atleast one suit from all the 100 designers who have come up with their lawn collection
Re: What is the current fashion?
^ Yes yes! And Elan has by far the BEST lawn/prints this year ![]()
I just got back from Pakistan, I didn’t see a single short kameez or shalwar.
What is the current fashion?
I heard sana safinaz last year too on the tv saying long kameezes won’t be in. I haven’t seen those as yet too. Long shirts are still everywhere. It takes time for a trend to show up and take it place. Imagine how weird it will look if we see anyone wearing shalwar with a normal size kameez. I’m sure it will take time to show up. My cousin in Pk is friends and studies with the girls who have wore shalwars recently. She says shalwars will be coming back.
Re: What is the current fashion?
^ Elan's prints were very pretty - Sana Safinaz was a complete let down for me...just a really hyped up campaign with plenty of controversy to go with it. Have you seen the prints by Mahnoush?

They said one should keep a variety of styles in their wardrobe and shorter shirts will start to come back eventually. :)

I liked the long kameez'ez and the variety of 'daaman's and cuts... I hope short kameez'es don't come back soon :(
Re: What is the current fashion?

Karachi or Lahore inspiron? Chinyere has some gorgeous clothes so does Maria B. For everyday clothes def try Generation and Origins, for semi-formals head down to Khaadi Khaas. Velvet bangles are in and look pretty, most of the sandals I've seen have big gems on them so I'm assuming that will be 'in' all summers too.
