It is becoming increasingly clear that Pakistan need a score of 170-180 to beat top sides. Pak need to do better than 140-150 which is a nothing sort of total in T20
Deduct 20 runs from Pak total even before a ball is bowled because of our pathetic fielding i.e. 150 effectively becomes 130 giving bowlers almost nothing to defend!
140-150 might be competitive enough for good fielding sides like Australia, SA, NZ and England.
So what is the best batting combination in your opinion that can help us achieve a total of 170+ in the remaining two games. I feel that we are wasting Razzaq by batting him so low down the order
I think Pakistan can beat NZ but not SA.
In theory we could still qualify for the semis if England win all their games, NZ beat SA (tough but not impossible) and Pak do not lose badly against SA

We don't have any natural big hitters in the team. Razzaq has looked completely out of sorts, Afridi is under pressure as captain and the rest we all know about.
When Salman Butt is your top scorer and looks the most dangerous compared to all your other batsmen, that itself goes to show how pathetic our batting line up is.
The batting order does not help either. Hafeez should be out and Fawad should be batting at #3. What's the point of playing Fawad at #8? it's just common sense.
Re: What is the answer to our continuing batting woes?
Fawad Alam needs to come up the order and if Hafeez has to play then he needs to swap his place with Fawad, so does Razzaq. Umar Akmal / Misbah needs to be dropped in favor of Khalid Latif. Hafeez has not been able to either build an inning or hit-out properly while Fawad has shown skills for both. Misbah and Umar have both disappointed with their lack of application.
Re: What is the answer to our continuing batting woes?
^fawad alam cant play! no point moving him up the order, kick him out and bring some1 else back in, maybe sami who can bat better then him aswell as bowl.
