‘Hamsa’ is a sign/symbol use of which is prohibited in Islamic counties i.e. in Arab countries. Some other country use it as ‘stop’ sign whereas arab Islamic countries use any other sign i.e. text for ‘stop’.

Prohibited in Arab countries? Hmm OK. Could you please back that statement with some facts please? I couldn’t find anything about the ban in arab countries myself, so could you please post a link for me to read? Thanks!
