I’m not sure how exactly to spell it, but i have wondered for a while now what exactly that is. It is supposedly considered a specialty of Hyderabad, and a must purchase/taste sort of treat for anyone visiting or passing through Hyderabad. Is that true?

its some sweet dish with sugar, cardamom, pistachio, kewra, etc..
all i know about it is that one time my dad bought rabri drinks when we were in karachi.. so apparently it can be eaten or drank

there is not aray in u know there is ray, zay, aray, yay in urdu...so ya...u cant spell rabri in ingaalish. and yes its a hyderabadi soghat.
and its heavy...and its has some distinct taste so u cant call it a heavy for of a kheer.

On a serious note, yes it is a sweet saughaat and a speciality of Hyderabad.
Caution: if you get hold of it, DO NOT eat more than 20-30 grams. Might cause you to spend more time in the mens' than you would like to.

it is delicioussssssss. it's really popular in karachi as well, there are a couple of places (especially saddar area) that sell the most amazing rabris ever. as far as i remember, they are mostly stored and sold in clay pots. it's not like kheer, it has the same look but the taste is very different.

You can spell it like rabRi (ربڑى). when use R (in caps) considered as Ray (ﮌ), like pahaR (پەاڑ), KimaRi (كيماڑى), gaRi (گاڑى) etc

I wonder if it’s available in USA 
Rabri is a dish made from slivered almonds, pistachios, milk/ milk powder, cardamom and corn starch. It’s a favourite in the North of India where the guys make it for Diwali and other festivals, and also during Eid, and as somebody mentioned, in the Hyderabad region of Pakistan.
