oh i see…i got no idea…i remember when i was a kid my mom used to make achaars and she used it in mango pickles called arakka…i don’t see this specialty mango pickles anywhere in the stores…mango halves are stuffed with masaalaas [including rai seeds]…and put in the sun for several days to incorporate flavours and loosen the jkin. arakkaas are yummy! i get them from India every year.
