Re: What is ‘Qayamat’..
The word Qiyamah means “the Day of Resurrection, the Day of Judgement”. Source
From an Islamic point of view, everything will cease to exist on this day, except for Allah (SWT). Then we will all be brought back to life by the Will of Allah (SWT). Allah (SWT) will then judge us accordingly based on our past.
I’m sure others can provide with a better answer, insha’Allah.

Club 123 & Moderator Sadiya,
Please see details about Kiamat/Resurrection Day mentioned in Quran & Hadis:
I believe after this you need not to ask anything about it.
RESURRECTION DAY:
Surely, your Lord will judge them on the Day of Resurrection regarding everything they have disputed. [Ariah: 17]
The horn will be blown, whereupon they will rise from the grave and go to their Lord. [Ya Sin:]
KIAMAT/DAY OF RESURRECTION /JUDGEMENT
Re: What is 'Qayamat'..
what is it that u r referring to????
which surah????
Re: What is ‘Qayamat’..
Even science has proven that life one day on earth will be impossible for every living thing. What astronomers believe is that one day earth will die, but they arent even sure themselves when exactly it will end.

Re: What is 'Qayamat'..
Qiyamat is a variant of the arabic word Qiyamah, which comes from the root word Qiyam (means to stand).
So the Day of Qiyamat means the Day of Standing, which is also called the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Judgement.
It is the day when everyone will be resurrected and brought forward to their Lord and will be judged. The reason why it is called the Day of Standing (Day of Qiyamah) is because everyone will be standing. There will not be any sitting, or lying down or kneeling.
