Our early days were stressful. You are basically living with a stranger, not knowing their habits and lifestyle. My hubby took his sweet time to understand that I get ticked off when he leaves the bathroom dirty, especially when I just finished up cleaning it an hour ago! Or leaving a huge pile of dishes in the kitchen sink, leaving random stuff on the floor until you can’t see the damn floor or leave food items on the couch. 
I am the kind of person who goes quiet when in a stressful situation, or angry so I like to be left alone for a while. The hubby still does not understand that. So when I tell him to leave me alone, he goes away. Goes away and comes back in literally, a couple minutes, expecting me to be like this: 
Like no, I am not bipolar, Mister.
With the passage of time, we are now starting to develop a better sense of what we expect of each other so we both make more of an effort.
