I predict that Tendulkar will struggle bigtime in this series and will be the beginning of the end of his career.
Its not like I am hoping or praying that he doesn't perform well. I just stated a fact. Believe me but I would consider Youvraj singh and kaif much more dangerous now as compared to Tendi. I would be relieved to see tendi and ganguly in side instead of kaif and youvraj.
Whatever I said was on the basis of how he has played lately in the last 1 year or 2.
Look at his last 15 test match stats and you will know what if am trying to say. He has averaged 50+ in last 15 matches and scored 1058 runs. But see how frequently he has played mediocre innings. Just take out his 194* at Multan, 248* against BD and 109 against SL. Tendi has scored 507 runs in 20 innings with an average of 25. He has scored these 3 big tons after almost every 10 innings. Mind you the middle one 248* was against BD, so in reality he scored a major ton (109* against SL) after almost 20 innings.
But these are facts only, which sometime could be wrong as well in a way that sometime they misinterpret the reality . If you have seen tendi playing, than you would know what if am saying. He has looked very ordinary most of the times in these last 15 test matches.
Look at his stats in the last 20 ODI. His average in ODI is not even 30 in the last 20 ODI's.
When a player of tendulkar's caliber, towards the twilight of his career is performing that poorly according to his own created standards, what does it suggests????????????
Chaloo jee master blaster kee aik aur classy innings add karlo in his list of failures during the last 2 years:D
after watching sachin being bowled out by asif in such a pathetic manner,i agree with moin that it really is the beginning of the end of the master batsman
yes,i saw so if asif decieved the batsman who piled runs against bowlers like wasim, waqar, macgrath, gilespie n blah blah that means either asif can bowl more better than all these bowlers or its the end of sachin,c'mon accept it :p
no dear rahul bhai i saw the whole thing i know the bowl kept low,but isnt sachin the genius, the legendary, the little master blah blah.....so y wasnt he expecting this????????
^ may be it is the beginning of end, may be its a hiccup, but all greats do get out in one way or the other, they get bowled, get caught napping (edge to keeper), loft a catch somewhere, lets just say that Asif bowled really well and used pitch to his advantage :D
Its not about that ball keeping low. A great batsmen like Tendulkar should ideally have no problem in countering such balls. So its a stupid excuse to give that the ball was too low.
I have already presented Tendi stats for the last 1 and half year, in this thread. PLus most of us who hav seen him playing during his period knows that it is looking like the beginning of the end for him .
Why is it too difficult to admit? Or may be some people are in deniel.
Dont sound like an ignorant because I know you know better. have you seen where his bat and feet were. He was perfectly in life. If a ball keeps that low no one can do anything.. They are people and play based on what kind of bounce is in the wicket they cant be playing for low balls all the time.
I agree that Tendulkar is not the same Tendulkar but saying that He shouldnot have problem playing that ball is stupid. He is not God. Anyone could have gotten out on that ball.
