when somebody says im “Urdu speaking”?

I wl keep using this thread for terms i come across which i dnt understand :smiley: u guys can do the same.

That means they are "predominantly native Urdu speakers"...yani urdu unki main zaban hai aur woh zaida urdu hi bolte hain. (urdu is the language which they speak the most)

I guess it means thier Mother tongue or Madree Zubaan is Urdu. :)

that means their basic or native language is urdu, unlike punjabis whose native lang is punjabi, or pathans whose native lang is pushto, or sindhis whose native lang is sindi

hey i dnt think so guys..................we all speak urdu bt i think something else is meant by urdu speaking. oh well!!!!! lols
