Assalamu Alaykum.

To me marriage is a compromise. It's a life long commitment with an individual who knows you very well both mentally and physically. The reason why I say marriage is a compromise is because most people get in a marriage and think that they can have it ALL their way. That's not how it works. "If you pull too hard, the rope will brake". You sacrifice a little on your own part for the other and expect the other to do the same. That way one can't complain of ALWAYS giving things up for the other. I personally believe that a husban and wife should be equals who help each other in the everyday ups and downs:) .

When someone begins on that arrangement called marriage, he is getting into something which is, to say the least, adventurous… When a couple get married, they are doing something they know nothing about… And, from all indications, when they have tried it more than once, they know no more about it the second time than they did the first. ..

marriage is the most beautiful of all relationships....the love between a husband and wife is unique which cannot be found in any other relationship. I think if a person finds the right person, then marriage would be the happiest thing in their life...

marriage is the commitment on part of husband/wife to be there when their spouse need them be it good times or bad!
