Some people say , magic is a spiritual thing that comes from your soul.. But I have also heard that in magic, you enter into an agreement with “shaitan and Jinaat” and its the shaitan, who does all things on your behalf..
It’s so confusing, there are as many theories about Magic as there are men.. Can anyone tell me what exactly magic is ?

I dont think there’s anything like magic, except miracles from ALLAH.. As far as shaitaan or jinnaat are concerned, they only control things physically and practically which we cant see… and humans doesnt have any control on souls at all…

But it is said that magic is from shaitan and Miracles from ALLAH.. The supporters of this theory present ayaat no 102 of Surah Baqra as a proof … Hence there remains no basis for saying that magic does not exist ..
*They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman (Solomon). Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, “We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).” And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah’s Leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their ownselves, if they but knew.

And the Last Surah in the Holy Quran and/or the Last three Surahs are the prescribed protection against the Evils of Magic!

There are 2 types of magic. One is about universe and our planet and it consists of 3 elements fire, soil and water. The other is called Dark Magic in which you just kind of sale you soul to shaitan and do things that you want to. Both of them are haram in Islam. Meanwhile if you wanna learn about magic that has nothing to do with shaitan you can search sigil magic on youtube. And one other thing all shaitans are jins but not all jins are shaitan. Shaitan are jins that follow the path of Iblees.

Pal, i assume you are highly educated and this education has turned your head.. The problem with Liberal-Secular educated people is that they are educated just enough to believe what they have been taught or shown.. They only believe what science can prove, but they forget that science has limits too and there are many things yet to be discovered on this planet. So we humans are nowhere near the actual secrets and potential of this universe … We are NOT "Aqal-e-Qul and many things are beyond even our wildest imagination.

My research says that the non-shaitanic magic consists of 4 elements, fire , water , soil and air .

I dont know but most people here are from India or Pakistan anyway its mentioned in the Quran, Bible and many Hindu holy books so I dont know you are a kid or what.

Queer , buddy , if it wasnt for the holy books , most of us humans would have eaten each other up and killed humanity.
The books are a fact for only those that seek guidance from their heart and in sincerity . For those who dont seek the truth, the truth shall never come to them .

What makes you say that? Humans lived for over a million years without any holy books, or any books or writing for that matter - didn’t really eat each other off.
Let us look at factual evidence, not scary stories grandmas tell kids. Do holy books have any merit in an adult society?
