Its actually pink and its really yummy. I ate it once in karachi and i believe its made after really cooking the milk a lot. I have a family friend who is Begali, let me see if amma can get a hold of the recipe from her for you.

TDW, google for "mishti doi" or "mishti dahi" and you should get plenty of results.
