Mirpuri’s?

Please do not take offence as i see everyone as equal and personally have nothing against anyone but everytime the word “mirpuri” is mentioned, everyone starts bad mouthing them? Afterall, everyone is the same in Allah’s eyes.

WHY?

Can anyone tell me please?

Re: What is it with...

from what ive gleaned from people it because they are traditionally from a rural background, have a different accent/ language, tend to live in area's where there are many more Mirpuri people and consequently practice the same unadulterated culture as they had back in Mirpur even though they have lived abroad for over 20 years.
and are therefore considered uncouth, and backward.
I think there is also an element of racism which has been imported from Paks in the minds of other Pakistanis.

Re: What is it with…

lazy daisy hit it on the head.
Mirpuris are very successful.. we know some mirpuri’s - corner shop empire, are no joke millionaires.. but at the shop, subha subha moo bhi ni dhoya hotha :disgust:

Re: What is it with...

This is a typical Pakistani attitude, or for that matter desi attitude. Does'nt matter what group you talking about, if its aint your own ethnicity you will badmouth it. I know since I have different ethnicities in my own family.
I guess such thinking comes from a lack of education, but it might just be a part of desi mentality.
Its not jsut a Paki thing Indians are just as bad with Hindi speaking, sikhs and gujjus and so on....

Re: What is it with...

elahi, when was the last time you saw a sikh-gujju fist fight? or for that matter any indian ethnicities have physical enemity and gang wars. i am sick of pakistani trying to club indians along when it comes to their negatives and then claim distinct identity when it comes to taking credit. **** off. we are different.

Re: What is it with...

hummm

Re: What is it with…

dude. my hindu freinds cant stop slanging sikhs and how “stupid” they are LOL
There would never be a sikh/gujju gang war since gujjus are passive. But I have seen Tamil and sikh gangs fight (along with Pakistani gangs as well of course). Are Tamils not Indian?
In fact in our city its so bad, that at big festivals/melas Indians have their own events (which is all hindus), while Sikhs have their own and most Indian muslims join the Pakistanis in our stuff. Of course this is specific to a certain place and may not hold true everywhere. But generally I have seen Indian divide based on language and religion just as much as Pakistanis.

Re: What is it with...

^^^

Re: What is it with…

oh wow looks like i was wrong. tamil and sikh gangs.. damn pakis. where are you at, elahi?

Re: What is it with…

Canada man… Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton all have it the same way with this stuff
Especailly in Vancouver with Khalistanis

Re: What is it with…

Hindus have gangs??? LooooooL, that doesn’t sound right. :rotfl: Unn becharon mein itna damm kahaan?

Don’t forget to add Punjabi Sikh Jatts v Punjabi Sikh Rajputs to the list.

Muslims fight against amongst themselves too but nowhere near as often as the others. Over here Paki, Afghan, North-African, Indian-Muslim and Bangladeshi gangs are usually united against the goray and sikhrrey.

Re: What is it with...
