What is it with people and food smells?

Do you know people who cook food in their homes and never open the windows or use exhaust fans? And then on top of that they don’t shower after cooking and wear clothes that smell of food. Even their handbags and whatever they carry smells of food.

Are they immune to the smell or they just don’t care?

There's a couple of kids I pick up during the week to take them for a class. When they enter my car, I have to open all windows because I feel like a restaurant walked in!

i had heated up curry one day in a common cafeteria and someone not even from my work place said, 'something stinks'. i gave that person a shameful lesson and said, every prepared food that has not gone stale or bad or is not vomited out, is fine with its smell.
that you have no right to have problems with cooked vegetable curry with rice, when i can tolerate your pork chops & will not say, even now that it stinks.
simple. it set that person right.
