What are you using to apply the foundation? is it sponges or brushes- make sure they’re clean. If it’s your fingers or hands make sure that you wash your hands. You’d be surprised at the number of people who touch their faces often and the places where they get zits is where they keep touching touching their faces! The bacteria on your hands/brushes/sponges can also cause you to break out. If the break out is really small bumbs (rather than actual zits that contain the white puss or mucus) then it’s an allergic reaction for sure. If they’re zits with puss/mucus (if you happen to pop it you can see the white) then it’s from bacteria - whether it’s being produced by your body and/or from your pores getting blocked by oils/make-up, etc.
