Hey so I was wondering, according to our Pakistani culture, what is Immodest to reveal for woman? Like what parts of a woman if revealed, would make her seem VERY Immodest according to you, or ‘Bay Sharam’.

According to you, which one of these parts need to be covered, and which not, and which parts even if left uncovered won’t make her seem Immodest. Which parts will cause YOU to scream ‘IMMODEST’ or ‘BAYSHARAM AURAT!!’ if uncovered. And Im not asking this from a religious perspective, but from a cultural perspective. So as a PAKISTANI and not as a MUSLIM, tell me what are your views. Im doing this survey for collecting opinions of Pakistanis.

alot of it is how you carry yourself! u can be wearing a full covering cloth but if its too tight it would still give away your contours which totaly defies the purpose of covering.

The tummy is revealed with a sari so that isn't immodest to most desis. And nothing from that list makes a women seem immodest. But boobs/butt/camel toe is immodest in nearly every culture, esp. Pakistani/Indian.

I think for most pakistanis it’s the shoulders, and if the shoulders are uncovered then that usually means so are the arms and part of the back. But personally the only thing I think is besharam is if someone is showing cleavage

Depends on which area in pakistan, even in cities like Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad there are places where you can wear knee lengths skirts, sleeve less shirts, tube tops, shorts etc. but there are also places in same cities where you need to cover yourself with chaddar/abayas if you don't want to stand out
