The Ex Hizbulla Secretary-General Sobhi Al Tufaili confessed that: the Hezbollah are protectors of Israeli borders.

Questioner: Don’t you agree sheikh, as it was said by sheikh Hasan Nasra-allah in his words that you blame or insulted hizbulla when you said the withdrawal of Israel from Lebanon was only due to a treaty between Hizbulla and Israel. Did you say that?

Sobhi Al Tufaili: If you go back to the treaty (Hizbulla and Israeli) you will clearly see that it mentions respect towards Israeli borders. I didn’t accuse anybody nor did I attack anyone nor do I blame anyone who supported resistance, supported the blood of martyrs supported the honour of islam and muslims, those who entered the treaty with Israel and those who are there now along the borders carrying weapons, are carrying it to protect the enemy Israel. And those who don’t believe me then let him go there and carry out an operation against israel and we will see who stops him, who will put him in prison and who will torture him and who revenge from him.

Questioner: So do you want to say that hizbullah are protectors of Israeli settlements?

Sobhi Al Tufaili: Yes. Today they are.

Hezbollah politicians back peace package

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Hezbollah politicians, while expressing reservations, have joined their critics in the government in agreeing to a peace package that includes strengthening an international force in south Lebanon and disarming the guerrillas, the government said.

The agreement — reached after a heated six-hour Cabinet meeting — was the first time that Hezbollah has signed onto a proposal for ending the crisis that includes the deploying of international forces.

The package falls short of American and Israeli demands in that it calls for an immediate cease-fire before working out details of a force and includes other conditions.

okayyyyy, so if Hezbollah is there to protect Israeli border/settlements then who kidnapped the Israeli soldiers again? Israel itself? or the soldiers walked into Hezbollah's prisons?

This ex-secretary general sounds like the Iraqi exiles who "informed" US of Saddam's wmds.

The ‘ex secetary general’ is a political opponent of hezbullah and runs a rival militia in lebanon. Hence, its understandable where his nonsensical claims are coming from.

Here is an excerpt from an interview that Vibes did with Dr Ilan Pappe: **

VIBES: Earlier you said that Hezbullah is a legitimate organization. What reasons would you give Israelis to accept the party?

Dr. Ilan Pappe: I must say it is not easy to tell Israelis this. I have always said this and I also said it on TV the other day, but and I was attacked. I was attacked by many for saying this, especially at a time like this. But I am not just saying it with no basis. I have done a lot of work on the topic and have written much on Israel, Islam and Peace. My work is centered against Islamophobia, and it is certainly not an easy task to convey a complex message.

But it goes without saying that this false demonizing image that Israel and the US project of the Muslims is a great distortion. There are many people in Israel, the Arab Israelis mainly who fight against this as well.

At the end, one has to do what one can to fight it. I certainly do, and I don’t want to give up trying because it is wrong for the world to project Israel as a European enclave in the Middle East, and we must not accept it.
