What is going on? Is Zardari about to resign?

Interesting developments in the capital. Zardari was in hospital last night, rumor has it, he had a light heart attack and is going for full check-up to Dubai. The hospital he was flown to was not a normal hospital but the military one.

There is another rumor that he has been given a safe passage and might resign within 48 hours.

Not that I believe that people like Zardari ever resign, but what is going on?

Anyone with good connection has some inside information to share? :slight_smile:

Lets wait for 48hrs and find out :smiley: We have waited for him to leave all these yrs, these few hrs shudnt be that big of a deal.

All the elite of Pakistan go to military hospitals or private hospitals , which are considered to be best of the best what is unusual about that ?

Yes, but given the level of trust Zardari has in military, he would be the last person to go there for a serious medical check-up. If you know what I mean.

He was about to address joint session of the parliament this week. But now that is not gonna happen.

Lets wait and see...

He is perhaps there for some relax after few hard days .
His resign could be a good news for PPP

Don't we know about politicians and falling sick? :)

There are several possibilities:

  • He is really sick and that too seriously.
  • He is faking it and has made a deal with establishment (memogate?) and hence about to resign
  • There is nothing into it, he is mildly sick, will come back home soon and everything is as it was

Lets just wait and see..

nothing gonna happen dont 'worry... you all are getting too excited.. even if he have heart transplant .. he will live.. the zardaries and chors have access to best medical care.
