what is "Error Rate requirements"

Re: what is “Error Rate requirements”

It’s also called margin of error but its not part of the quality system any more. Now we have tolerances as long as the product specs are within the tolerances its no error. Normally in my job we deal with the tolerances of thous. (which is 1/1000 of an inch).

Correct in real life the only answer is mass production and then random batch testing.

Can’t help you on that I feel comfortable working with non living thing than living ones.

SGR is like minimum requirement of a product. eg if you want to produce a glass than your quality matrix should ask for some basic creteria as, it should be made out of certain material, can hold certain amount of volume, dimensions etc etc. For each and every creteria there is a fixed +/- tolerance.
