what does everyone think is beautiful!?! is it inner beauty or physical beauty? and in either case what is beautiful, is it someone who is honest, or is it one who is caring, or is it someone with big brown eyes? just curious?
People say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but thats not true anymore… i dont think. I think, beauty is fast becoming a singular objective standard that is shared by everyone. Largely because of TV, internet, Movies, magazines, all of which sell us this notion of whats beautiful. i think now beauty has become an objective standard, we all agree on this one idea of beauty, it is no longer, in the eye of the beholder, b/c its no longer subjective. We are all sold to understand beauty to mean certai things… tall..fair…small waist for women, broad shoulders for men… and so on and so forth…
so hence i am curious, i want to know what people’s notions of beauty are…i want to know if i am right, if beauty has become objective or not…if we all agree on certain qualities as beautiful…and hence beauty is no longer in the eye of the beholder.
beauty is a universl quality of anything pure, natural and un contaminated.
humans see beauty in being fit and apealing in appearance and in features
ideally, a beautiful person is one who is always beautiful not only from the outside, but from the inside as well.
men are beautiful too. the term for them is 'handsome'.
the connotations for beauty and its misuse or illuse has made it a bad thing rather than a good thing.
beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if the beholder knows that true beauty
cannot be rigged in mud...
soemtimes, the not beautiful can be the most beautiful from the inside.
test is one of both the quality and its posessor.
those who see it in others, have their own beauty as they go beyond only the actual appearance, and not the made up looks which have come to signify people into satisfactory objects.
is it that if the body goes a bit damaged, so does the soul? no.
the sould in fact has to be beautiful enough, to compliment a face, a person.
I don’t agree beauty is highly subjective. Whether its guy, gal or some other commodity. Everyone has their own prescriptive of beauty.
We all don’t agree on what beauty is, kisee ko skinny galz pasand hain kisee ko not that skinny. Kisee ko fair complexion pasand hai kisee ko sanwala. Some ppl like long hair some short, some ppl like baby faces some don’t list just goes on and on
same goes for other things.....take a dress for instance, you may hate some dress but there is someone in the world who will adore the dress and chances are you dont have to look too far for that ... !
It's both subjective and objective. There are scientific measurements that map a face to rate beauty. Babies look at 'beautiful' faces longer than not beautiful faces. I think we instinctively are attracted to certain qualities physically.
