I don't think you watched the video, Musharaff said something about Kashmir issue and why some problems arise because of mistreatment of Indian muslims and this is when this jayala maulvi stood up and said 'Stop interefering in our matters, we can defend ourselves blah blah.

Indian muslims should do whatever they want, they have every right to be patriotic and should be solving their own problems, where did i say that we should tell them what to do????

What was so offensive about the statement. Mush was claiming that terrorist organisations are being born due to India. If that is not offensive I dont know what is. Being a guest does not give you the right to talk crap. It is time Mush realised that.

What is so wrong when the madani guy told mushy what was reality. Mush killed and bombed his own people and what right and moral standing does he have to speak to them like the way he did. He was only creating problems for them.

Its quite interesting to learn the whole story. Iam sure this moulana was paid lump-sum amount for barking this to mush. who is he to speak on behalf of entire muslim community of India. This fool must be standing for elections this time and must have thought of winning the hearts of majority or hindu politicians by saying so and anyhow his physical appearance must be pleasing to muslims. But his talk proved that he is the most foolish guy i mean blacksheep of muslim community.

i saw most of that speach, Musharraf said in one instance that LeT and JuM like terrorist organizations came into existence in Pakistan because of the problems faced by Muslims in India or against problems created to Muslims in India, the thing is that it is natural for the Pakistan's people to feel like that, people in Tamil nadu a lot of them are agitated by what is happening to Tamil people living in Srilanka who are caught in between srilankan army and LTTE, but the Indian government and the Tamil Nadu state local government haven't allowed that feeling to materialize to a terrorist organizations, while people may feel emotional it is the responsibility of Pakistan's government to stop them from taking arms against other countries.

What reality?? Mush was talking about possible reasons of extremism against India, did he say that we (pakistanis) wanted to help Indians?? I later found out that maulana is a politician so he was obviously trying to be really tough to win votes from not only muslims but hindus as well. Interestingly same kind of maulvis in India gathered together a few days ago (watched it on Sahara news) and they were complaining that we are all treated like terrorists and we have NO rights, we have no representation in this country and everyone ditches us after getting our votes, we are discriminated against etc etc etc.

this one persons remark should not be taken as message from th whole indian muslim community. I know many indian muslims and non of them reacts or feels this way. Most of them are terrified and dont say much in hindu presence but when they are sitting with pakistanis or muslims only then u get to hear the real stuff.. . . .lol

and i thank GOD that we have our country. We have alot of problems piling up from the day one but atleast we dont have to deal with the hindu extremists. I m Not saying all hindus are extremists. Definitely most of the hindus want to live in peace just as we muslims do.

What hatred was displayed by Maulana .... he was doing some plain speaking.

Now this excuse has been used by a lot of people in Pakistan especially .... they are trying to justify acts of violence as being somehow reactive .... oh !! they are killing because they are reacting to the atrocities commited against muslims in Kashmir and Gujarat !!!!! And a lot of people lap it up .... including you .... the fact of the matter is these people (the terrorist) have their own ideology and they wil find one way or the other to justify it. So that means if they have to attack Pakistan they will find a way to justify it .... look at what has happened in Swat ..... they killed people from Pakistan armed forces and from Pakistan administration. Their justification for it was .... oh !!! we want justice according to Islamic law !!!!!! Did these people act like Muslims to begin with !!! Some of the hard questions Mushy will have to answer.

In a way you are right the guy is a politician !!! after all he has to go back to the people when he has to ask for votes. So he has to make sure he is safegaurding their interests. On the other hand Mushy is not answerable to anyone .... he is doing it for his own self preservation and for his masters :D

See the whole picture, yes Muslims of India are not in good condition, in fact according to a survey, they are in the worst condition economically. Many factors account for that, just as many factors account for poverty in our own country. We have discrimination based on other factors due to lack of justice, and rule of law.

In India, Muslims may be discriminated based on being Muslim and in Pakistan discrimination due to lack of justice.

Indian Muslims have long (in my opinion) looked up to Pakistan for being their moral support. Things have changed. We can't even support our own people and the traitors and generals we have, have actually ruined Pakistan. They can't provide justice and establish Islamic system of social justice in the "Islamic Republic" of Pakistan which was supposed to a model Islamic country.

When you see all that, should someone from our country be going and giving lectures on such things, that too in India????

Do you think Indians are nuts? They are not, they called Musharraf to make a fool of us. And that traitor Musharraf is still believing as if he is some sort of scholar who knows how to fix things. He should be fixing Pakistan's problems first and the mess he has created.

When we Pakistanis talk about Indian Muslims the way we do, we end up creating more problems for them. To be honest we get carried away with our Pakistaniat and do not realize that they have to walk a fine line keeping in view how stupid our leaders have been.

If we really want to be helpful, lets just put our own house in order. Lecturing to Indian Muslims would only make us look more stupid because we have lost our moral standing! and We all know that!

And yes when we establish Islamic justice and equality in our own country and when we do not have to run to Australia and the United States for living a good life, we won't even need to say what others need to do. They will emulate us and ask us what need to be done.

What is wrong if an Indian Muslim tells a Musharraf to shut the**up and not meddle in Indian Muslims' affairs. Indian Muslims are quite capable of taking care of their own problems.

Pakistanis love talk about Gujarat, but why do you forget that Gujarat riots started because of Godhra ?

Before Pakistanis come to India and lecture Indians on our treatment of minorities, they should look in their backyard. The Muslim community in Pakistan is fighting amongst themselves. Handle that first and then talk about Indian Muslims.

Calling Mush was a bad choice on the part of the magazine. He has been proven to be a liar on multiple ocassions. That apart, as a guest of the country there is a decorum which needs to be maintained. Mush crossed that line and got what he deserved from a fellow Muslim whose cause he was claiming to champion :p
