PITB Designing e-Vaccination for a Healthy Punjab!
Vaccines are the most cost-effective health care interventions ever made. e-Vaccination Program is designed by PITB in a way to ensure that every child of Punjab gets vaccinated and immunized against diseases. Expanded Program Immunization (EPI) workers in 20 districts across Punjab are equipped with smart phones to report vaccination activities in real time. Comprehensive dashboard enables district and provincial managers to keep a close check on assigned targets.

Snapshot below highlights trend of complaints as received on Helpline of WASA Lahore (1334). Complaints received in a fortnight (Aug 18 to Aug 31) are categorized as ponding, sewerage blockage and pipe leakage etc, if unattended in time prone to origination of water puddles turning into breeding hotspots for dengue larvae. Evident from line graph over the histogram (shows complaint resolution trend), WASA Lahore is on top of their game in complaint response and resolution drive.

Pakistanis assume far to much of India. While India has made progress, the fact is, they have long way to go. Pakistanis have gotten into the habit of denegrating themselves and putting India on a pedestal. As this article shows, Pakistanis arent just sitting around, they are innovating.
