Giant Parathas? or BakarKhani Naans?
either a giant poori, or a kulcha.
I would say a 'PApaaR'
its known as “KatlamMah” specialy prepared during the “Mailah ChraghaN” in Lahore.
and you should’nt be making jokes about Baker-Khani NaaN…

MiniMe is right, it is called Katlammah. Usually, they put some reddish ‘basan’ spicy mixture on one side and then fry it. It would be like piza, but without cheese. and it’s so
toba!
(that was my first expression)
It tastes gr8

What in the world is a Katlamma ?
No never had one, never even heard of one
Is it like a paratha?
Minime what makes you think i am making fun of BakarKhani naans
I have eaten them but I always thought they were big paraThas. Normally, with gola kebab. I am calling them paraThas coz they have layers similar to paraThas but they are cooked like a poori rather than paraTha. They are then divided into smaller portions to serve. I don't know waht katlammah is?
i havent had it too, how does it tasts???
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/pagal.gif
and you people know what is init??
yea “Katlamman”, It is made by baison + the material on it is “maash ki daal” and Spices and “Sabat Dhanya”. The taste of it is like “Poori” but due to spices and daal it tastes more.

ok guys …BakirKhani is BakirKhani and BakirKani NaaNs are Naans.
BakerKhani NaaNs are smaller in size and are more fluffier as compared to regular naan which you can find every where in Lahore, but there are only few place in Old town Lahore where you can find BakirKhani Naans. One of these places are known as Muhallah Mufti Bakir, at the back of Masjid Wazir Khan…
So now you see comparing katlamah(something pendoo..
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/smile.gif
) with bakirKhani Naan might offend the residents of Muhallah Mufti Bakir…

on the other hand Baker KhaniyaN, are used primarily with tea, they are small, 4-6" dia, but recently some bakers have making them with sweet layered stuff, and even the bow tie kinda bakirKhani.
And about Katlamah, during the three days of the Urs, ppl bring stuff with them to be added to the Katlamah… like adding a dozen of eggs will make the whole thing very crispy…and so heavy that you wont eat anything for days…
