Re: What in Pakistan are you proud of ?
Granted that these are serious issues that Pakistan has to face; but lets remind ourselves that Pakistan is only 60 years old! We have come along way in terms of development in relatively short time.
America in the '30's, 40's, and 50's was 100+ old yet it still dealt with racial hatred towards blacks. The shia/sunni issues are very much comparable. InshAllah with time and education future Pakistanis will realize that these issues are not worth fighting over.
What we have to look at is that Pakistan is moving in the right direction; education amongst the pop. is slowly increasing and I believe the right man is running the country (after mushy i'd prefer Imran Khana) and inshAllah in our grandchildren's lifetime Pakistan will be one of the leaders in the world.
And we have to make certain that the maulanas/maulvis/mattoos be put under a watchful eye so that they don't poison the minds of the youth under false ideology.
