If Islam has not any place in society then the Prophet should not have struggled for it. Religions were there to exploit people. There was no need to come up with Islam. Islam was not the name of isolated change , it was complete effort to change the system. If we can’t implement Islam with such zeal, its our fault, but saying Islam got no place in Pakistan or any society then its just a way out for not tackling our problems according to way told by Allah and His prophet.

I know there will be question how to implement it and which version of Islam and then this all discussion will take the same route it took in hundred other threads. We are eager to find out solution when it comes to our personal matters, but when it comes to Islamic system, we are limited to criticize so called scholars to get ourselves absolve from our responsibilities. We don’t send our children for getting religious education and then cry on the actions of some bigots, who are unfortunately called leaders of our religion. This is extreme hypocrisy which we need to get rid of.

Yes, Islam was a complete effort to change the system.

But let me ask you muqawwee…what has Islam brought to Pakistan so far? I am genuinely asking.

Islam has every place in our society…rather our versions of society but it has no place in our government.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not ashamed of Pakistani heritage…actually very proud. But I don’t understand why Islam is the way of life there as a country when it should be a personal choice for the people.
