Lying is not good. I wouldn't call it off if they're small and harmless but I'd make sure he fixes himself because it can lead to bigger things.

to be honest with you, i cant stand with a person who constantly tells lie on small thing. i would not appreciate it.

Well what kind of lies are they?
My fiance lies that he has already eaten dinner while he has not when we are talking over the net.
When i find out about it after a little scolding i love him more :)
